Hello, my name is Stefano Campestrin and photography is my hobby since I was 14. My late Granddad made me then an incredible Christmas present: his old Chinon SLR with three lenses! Oh how I adored that camera, how I learned the very basics of photography! Not much later, friends of the family, gave me two prospectus, one of the Nikon F801 and one of the Nikon F4. Since then I'm a Nikon Fanboy (at least as long as I could afford it). By the way, not long after, I could buy me the F801 and some years later (after an absolutely gorgeous FM2) I even had an F4s!
So, behind the pictures of this site is a long story of passion going on now for over 30 years.
My photographic gear I actually use? Well, some of these pictures were taken with my mobile phone.
This was because I don't carry always my semi-professional and professional DSLR with me. But over the last couple of years, it became (again) more and more my standard to carry some kilos of high-tech electronics and optics with me. Especially since I bought my Nikon D4s (which I adore to work with) and some quite nice lenses.
And since Feb. 2023 I'm a very happy owner of a Leica M 10 P! With two Voigtländer Apo Lanthar Lenses, one 35mm and the other 50mm. Let's the new journey begin!
